In my SharePoint 2013 application, I have added a SQL Server reporting services report viewer web part then I got the following error “Session state has been disabled for ASP.NET.  The Report Viewer control requires that session state be enabled in local mode.” 

I have searched and found that session state must have to be enabled for ASP.NET for Report Viewer. To enable session state for ASP.NET in SharePoint 2013 Application, You can use SharePoint power shell command. 

Enable-SPSessionStateService -Defaultprovision 
I have added SQL Server reporting services report viewer web part in my SharePoint 2013 application site page as shown below.

 Note: You must have to open SharePoint PowerShell as administrator to run the above command
